We place an emphasis on learning the Art with its traditional knowledge, philosophy, and values. We strive to maintain the highest standards of training, leadership, and fellowship. We are an organization developed to preserve, promote, and research traditional Martial Arts.

A Brief History

K.M.A.R.A. was founded in 1995. We are located in Bowie, Maryland, under the same roof as the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie. Hillside is the primary teaching location of K.M.A.R.A.

K.M.A.R.A. has developed and currently teaches it's own system of Martial Arts, called Han Guk Mu Sool, which is a compilation of several traditional styles.

Today, K.M.A.R.A. has over 500 members, ranging in age from 4 through 80, and in rank from White Belt through 8th degree Black Belt. We offer instruction in four K.M.A.R.A locations, plus several other satellite programs in the greater Washington DC area and in eastern PA.
