Head Master Al Gauthier
Founder and President of K.M.A.R.A.

8th Degree Black Belt. Master Gauthier has been teaching professionally since 1981, and formed K.M.A.R.A. in 1995. He began his Martial Arts studies in 1973 under Grandmaster Soo Yong Cha. Grandmaster Cha taught him the arts of Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do and Ki-Do. After studying for over 10 years with this Master, he went on to study under several Masters, where he researched and studied Tang Soo Do, Kuk Sool Won, Kwon Bop, Moo Ki Gong, and Buddhist Martial Arts.

Master Gauthier has also furthered his studies in Ki Gong, Acupressure, and Acupuncture. He has incorporated his extensive background into the present curriculum taught to the members of K.M.A.R.A.

Master Gauthier has proven the effectiveness of his system in real-life confrontations while serving as a police officer in Prince George's County, Maryland, for ten years, and was awarded the Silver Medal of Valor for "unusual courage and bravery" during an encounter with an armed robber. He has been a guest instructor to federal law-enforcement agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the National Security Agency (NSA)..

	Master John Kerr Vice President of K.M.A.R.A. 4th Degree Black Belt. Over 25 years experience in Tang Soo Do and Han Guk Mu Sool. John Kerr is the Chief Instructor of the Korean Martial Arts Academy in Severna Park, MD.
	Robert Ogle 3rd Degree Black Belt. Over 25 years experience in Tae Kwon Do and Han Guk Mu Sool. Robert Ogle is the Head Instructor at the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie.
	Bobby Gauthier 4th Degree Black Belt. Bobby Gauthier is an Assistant Instructor at the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie.
	Sam Romanzo Holds a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Han Guk Mu Sool. He is co-owner of Union Tae Kwon Do Center in South Riding, Virginia.
	Michael Gauthier 3rd Degree Junior Black Belt. Michael Gauthier is an Assistant Instructor at the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie.
	Don Haworth Don has been studying Han Guk Mu Sool since 1998, is an instructor in two of the DT Modules, has been in Public Safety since 76 and has over 22 years as a Paramedic; most of it in Prince George's County. Don Haworth is an Assistant Instructor at the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie and will be the Chief Instructor at the Academy of Korean Martial Arts when it opens Sept. 2006.
	Bill Havanki 2nd Degree Black Belt. Bill Havanki is an Assistant Instructor at the Hillside Martial Arts Center of Bowie.
	Mike Estep 1st Degree Black Belt. Over three decades of experience in Tae Kwon Do, Tang Soo Do, and Han Guk Mu Sool.
	Jeff Harding 1st Degree Black Belt.
	Steven Wood 1st Degree Junior Black Belt.
	Vivian Sandin 1st Degree Black Belt.
