DT Systems is one of the most effective modern systems of self defense available today. It uses the minimal amount of force to accomplish the maximum results, and is designed to bring effective resolutions to dangerous encounters. This system will allow you to gain control of any situation and subject.

We stress a complete approach to self defense from the onset to the conclusion, and teach the psychological, physiological, and tactical tools needed to win in any situation.

DT Systems has been taught to a wide range of students from law enforcement to flight attendants to students from all walks of life.

Current Programs

	1. Defensive Tactics This is our basic self defense course. It stresses awareness and threat evaluation with appropriate responses. This course serves as an important foundation to develop the mind-set and skills to survive a street encounter.
	2. Opponent Control This course stresses simple, safe, and effective methods to control a subject. These joint manipulation techniques (called come-alongs) reduce injuries and make arresting an uncooperative subject safer and easier.
	3. Gun Disarming This course teaches last resort methods of disarming a high risk subject. This is one of the most comprehensive courses taught, and includes hostage, disadvantaged, and third party applications. Also long gun disarms are taught during this course. Various training scenarios will be presented to add realism to the training.
	4. Knife Defense Learn how to deal with the bladed encounter. This is a must learn course for anyone who is serious about self defense.
	5. Counter Terrorism Course This course deals with high risk mass transit situations. Special tactics are learned through realistic training scenarios. This course is highly recommended for flight attendants and anyone who wants to be safer when they travel.
	6. Police Expandable Baton This course offers effective controlled use of the modern Police impact weapon. Sensitive pressure point applications are utilized for immediate effect while minimizing injury and liability.
	7. Advanced Defensive Tactics This course teaches close-quarter unarmed tactics and is ideal against violent aggressors. Blocking, trapping, striking, quick take-down, and control methods are learned in this course.

Law Enforcement

We have courses designed specifically for law enforcement training programs, teaching police officers safe and effective methods to control a subject, while minimizing risk and potential liability. DT Systems was developed to work within the use of force parameters that a police officer must observe.

Military and Government Applications

DT Systems offers special training for military and government applications. Our professional staff will come to your facility and offer a full range of training. All courses are presented in a safe, supervised, and highly structured manner.

Training includes empty-handed, knife defense, gun disarming, opponent control, and arrest techniques. Realistic scenarios and simulated (rubber) weapons are used.
